Studio Portrait Photography

Special Occasion and Event Photography
A 50th Birthday Party - Having met Darren we knew that he was the perfect choice for us when choosing a photographer for my husband’s 50th birthday party. He was extremely professional in the lead-up to the party and throughout the day; he totally made sure that both my husband and I remained relaxed and comfortable even though we had a few nerves! Darren was great at understanding what we wanted from our photographer and he made sure that he stuck to the script but added value when the opportunity arose. Our party was one of Darren Weston Photography's first, however, you would swear that he was a seasoned veteran. If we had the chance to do it all again we would not change a thing. Big thanks to Darren for capturing our memories so beautifully.

Portraiture Corporate Photography in the studio
I came across Darren on the web as I was looking for a local photographer to get some portrait shots for work. Darren has a nice studio in his back garden with a range of lighting equipment. He was very welcoming and took as long as was needed to get a suitable picture - trying a variety of different backgrounds and lighting conditions. I liked the result so much that a couple of weeks later I took the whole family (six of us) to have some family shots taken - both portraits and groups. Darren was very accommodating as we had to schedule it after school and his friendly manner put everyone at ease and we got some great shots. Overall Darren is very easy to work with and the results are excellent,...I would recommend him highly.

One of the best! I have to admit that I was a bit more than nervous at the beginning as I needed acting headshots and never done anything like that before. But after some talk and a few pictures were taken everything went smoothly and was quite fun. It was an amazing experience with outstanding results! I would definitely come back for some more!

Special Occasion Photography - Christening
We chose Darren for the photography of our twin’s christening. Darren invited us to his studio beforehand to discuss our thoughts and arrange the details. On the day Darren took some really great pictures both formal ones we had suggested as well as some great informal ones of everyone which really captured the mood of the day. Additionally, the day didn't quite go as planned with the original timings and Darren was really flexible and split his time coming back later to take some additional shots. Overall really great working with Darren and will recommend him to my friends.

Darren's photography was absolutely brilliant. He was so friendly and helpful and very clued up with how and where to take photos to get amazing quality photos. We asked for both stages and action shots to be taken at our wedding and this was definitely achieved with over 400 photos!! Darren arrived very early at my hotel and took photos of myself (the bride) and all of my bridal party whilst getting ready he spent lots of time with us getting to know us and making us feel comfortable with him being there. He stayed for the duration of our wedding capturing every moment of our special day. Thank you again Darren for your amazing skills x
