The Coseners House Abingdon on Thames ~Veronica and Christopher

The Coseners House - Late Summer Wedding at this Wedding Venue - September 2022

Wedding Couple getting married in Abingdon

As a wedding photographer in Oxfordshire, I am blessed with being in a position to capture my couple’s special moments via pictures at stunning wedding venues.

The Coseners House is one of those wedding venues. Having shot a wedding a few weeks back at the location on a hot summer’s day, I was back again this time with the late summer sun still providing my couple, Veronica and Christopher some late seasonal warmth.

This wedding had a cultural twist to it. The bride and her family originated from Peru, and her brother Ernesto, a vicar, led the ceremony at the nearby historical St Nicholas Church. Dating back to 1170 this building would have been the gateway to the Abingdon Abbey, now with just a few ruins remaining.

After the ceremony, my couple walked a very short distance to their wedding breakfast venue.

Aditya, Coseners House’s deputy general manager was again on hand to oversee his staff provide excellent service to my couple and their guests.

Culturally, Veronica wanted lots of formal family shots but also a mix of documentary-style shots taken not only at the wedding venue but also at the stunning grounds of the Abbey ruins.

Here are a few of my favourite images from my afternoon with Veronica and Christopher - many congratulations to them both.
