Wedding Photography in Oxfordshire - FAQ’s

  • Yes. Sometimes individuals can be nervous. This is quite normal especially if it is your Wedding day. Really don’t worry, your shoot won’t begin until you are totally relaxed and feel comfortable. If you have booked me for your wedding day we will have met beforehand to decide upon the style of images you require e.g. posed or a more relaxed style. I will ensure you are totally comfortable before any images are taken.

  • Yes absolutely. Believe it or not, everyone has a good side to photograph !! It’s about establishing which side that is…I also work alongside a make-up artist if you require one.   • Yes, I use powerful industry-standard post-processing image software to enhance images to ensure they (and you) look as good as they can be.

  • Both. I ensure that two memory cards capture RAW image data and JPEG images at the same time.

  • Yes. Raw files are much larger file sizes but allow a greater range of editing within your images. After your event with me is over, work continues on every image, adjusting parameters to ensure the colours, clarity, contrast, and crop are just as they should be. Lightroom and Photoshop are powerful, industry-standard editing tools that can even remove certain aspects of an image if requested or required. Often, one image can take a few hours to retouch. This is one reason why you may not receive your finalised images for several days after the shoot. They will be worth the wait, I assure you.

  • Of course. There might be some associated costs for travel however we can discuss this at the time of your inquiry.

  • Typically you receive them via a personal web-based image-sharing site once they have been edited. I can share them via a USB stick if you would prefer this method (USB supplied by the client). Depending upon workload I aim to provide the final edited images within 7-14 days. See RAW v JPEG images, above to understand these timeframes. My Wedding clients can also choose a Wedding Album (not included in package costs) as well as receiving digital copies of their images.

  • Yes. Depending upon the agreement at the time of booking, I can arrange for others (e.g. guests at a wedding) to view the gallery and purchase prints from my photo lab directly. They can be ordered from the gallery site and paid for directly. This saves you the client, having to send out multiple prints to multiple individuals.

  • Yes, chosen images can be supplied in black and white at no extra cost.

  • Yes, I can receive payments via chip and pin.

  • For weddings and events that are booked well in advance, I do require a deposit to secure the date. This amount is non-refundable if you cancel the booking. If however, you need to amend the date that’s fine provided I am not booked with other clients

  • Yes, they are your images. You are also free to make copies and give them to your relatives/friends etc
